"It's not my fault T [Topicality] Rocks" -Janelle Rivard

The Fayette County Debate team began honoring individuals in 2004 by creating a Hall of Fame.
 
In order to qualify for the Fayette County Debate Hall of Fame, debaters must meet any one of the following criteria:
1- Qualify for the NFL Nationals Championship
2- Qualify for the Tournament of Champions
3- Win a State Championship
 
The Hall of Fame members and Coaches have final discretion over who is in inducted.
 
The following individuals have been inducted into the Fayette County Debate Team Hall of Fame:
 
Taine Duncan (2000-2002): State Champion. Taine only debated Lincoln Douglas for two years, yet qualified for Nationals both years.  Taine also won State Championship in Extemp in 2002. Inducted in 2006.
 
Beverly Kelly (1994-Present): Head Coach, 1994-1997, 2005-present; Assisstant Coach, 1998-2004.  Led The Fayette County Debate Team to the run of 13 straight Region Championships and one 2nd Place Finish at State Championship. Inducted in 2004.
 
Munir Meghjani (2001-2006): 4 Time National Qualifier. Munir Meghjani started the Public Forum division at Fayette County High School.  Munir was runner up in Region Extemp.  Munir has qualified for Nationals in Extemp. Munir qualified for Nationals again in 2006 in the Public Forum division. Inducted in 2006.
 
Jeffrey Miller (2001-Present): HS Debater, 2001-2006, Policy Coach 2006-Present. Jeffrey did so much for the debate team while he was on it.  Jeffrey qualified for State Championship three years in a row by winning region championship.  He also captured three All State Bids in his High School career.  In his senior year, he became the third FCHS Policy team to qualify for Nationals. Inducted in 2006.
 
Marvin L. Moore (1998-2001):  National Qualifier. Marvin qualified for CFL Nationals one year in an individual event, however Marvin's life was cut short due to an automobile accident.  Marvin was a great speaker and strived towards excellence in all he did. Inducted in 2006.
 
Michael Peaden (1999-2004): State Champion.  Michael had numerous Tournament of Champion Bids.  He, also, was the first to win State Championship in Extemperanous Speaking.  He won several tournaments throughout his career and is considered by many, the best speaker ever at Fayette County High School. Inducted in 2004.
 
Kevin Rabinowitz (1999-2003): TOC Qualifier.  Kevin was the first policy debater to recieve a Tournament of Champions Bid.  He recieved three in his senior year.  He was known around the National Circuit as a great debater.  He has the most policy TOC Bids in Fayette County History.  Kevin also did Extemporaneous Speaking.  He won Region Championship his junior year at Region Literary.  While debating in College for the University of Georgia, he was named the Top Collegiate Debate Team in the Nation. Inducted in 2005.
 
Janelle Rivard (2000-2005): Nationals Qualifier.  Janelle was the first policy debater to qualify for NFL Nationals.  She also qualified for All State Championships all four years of high school.  She was a member of the Region Championship teams three times. She was a part of the State Runner up team in 2003. Inducted in 2005
 
Noordin Tharani (2000-2005): National Qualifier. Nordy qualified twice to the NFL Natinoals tournament.  He was a part of the first team to qualify in Policy.  He came close to getting a TOC bid his junior year but dropped on a 2-1 decision in the bid round. Inducted in 2006.
