Fayette County Debate finished 2006-2007 ranked 2^nd in Varsity AAAA and ranked 2^nd in Novice Policy in the State!  We also had a team finished in the top 25 in the Nation!

This year to continue our success we will need more financial support since we plan to travel more and give the students national exposure.  The 2007-2008 schedule feature competitions in Nevada, Louisiana, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, and all over Georgia!  

The county can only give the team so much money to spend on registration fees.  The county gives us around $ 2,400 to debate with, which only covers around 6 – 8 tournaments in the state.  Students have to pay for air travel, hotel, food, transportation for out of state tournaments.  For example this May we were invited to a Freshmen National Round Robin in Dallas, Texas, however it would have cost $2,000 for four students (500 dollars each) to go.  To help offset the students’ costs we need sponsorships from companies like yours!
